Ice Flows On Hudson River

Standing over the railing on a blustery February day, I witnessed shards of glassy ice flowing up the river, great bulky chunks careening into each other like some ever changing puzzle of a billion pieces. Mysterious shadows emerged from jagged edges as the sun began to set; once more a macabre dance consisting of jumbled crashes and scrapes ambled northward.
